I started as a volunteer, served on boards and committees, ran a small nonprofit and worked for some of the top national ones. One day, I realized I could make a much bigger impact on our community as a consultant. Thus, The Genuine Nonprofit, LLC. was born.
I understand the many difficulties that come with a nonprofit business - small staff, tight budgets, overwhelming workload, shrinking donorbase...If you're reading this, then you understand these challenges all too well. Over the years, I've discovered simplicity, a genuine approach, and transparent communication are the key to overcoming many of them (and winning over new supporters too.)
